Jane Franch

Jane Franch serves as the Senior Director of Climate Impact at Pivot Bio since August 2022, focusing on sustainable agricultural practices that reduce reliance on synthetic fertilizers. Prior to this role, Jane was involved with East Bay Community Energy and held several key positions at Numi Organic Tea, including Vice President of Strategic Sourcing & Sustainability, where contributions included optimizing supply relationships and establishing direct sourcing for rooibos. Additionally, Jane has experience with the Climate Collaborative, Climate Neutral, and SCS Global Services, where responsibilities ranged from board membership to direct operational oversight in food and agriculture sustainability. Jane's academic background includes a BA in English Literature from the University of California, Berkeley, an MS in Environmental and Forest Sciences from the University of Washington, and a Graduate Certificate in International Development Policy and Management from the Evans School of Public Policy & Governance, University of Washington.
