Gairo Cuevas

Gairo Cuevas is an experienced editor, cinematographer, and director with a diverse background in the film and media industry. Currently employed at Pixar Animation Studios since April 2015, Gairo specializes in editing, filming, and directing bonus content for feature films. Prior experience includes working at Bassett & Partners Inc. as an editor and cinematographer, where Gairo filmed and edited interviews, and at CBS as an associate producer responsible for producing weekly video projects for marketing content. Gairo also contributed as a freelance editor and videographer at Zoosk Inc., creating scripts and filming narrative shorts and interviews. In addition to practical experience, Gairo served as a film instructor at San Francisco State University, teaching 16mm production and screenwriting. Gairo holds a Bachelor's degree in Cinema from San Francisco State University, obtained between 2004 and 2007, and completed high school at Napa High School, graduating in May 2001.
