Luke Van Bakel

Luke Van Bakel has diverse work experience in various industries. Luke started their career as an Executive Assistant at 9Story Entertainment Inc., where they handled administrative tasks for the CEO and was also part of the social media team. At Youth Services, Luke was a Youth Advisory Committee Member, involved in creating sex-ed resources for queer youth. Luke then worked at TD as a Financial Services Representative, providing excellent customer service and assisting clients with their financial needs. Luke later joined Hacker You as a Student Developer and then moved on to 7C Laboratories as a Front-end Developer. Currently, they work at Pixel Union as a Support Team Lead, educating and advising merchants on maximizing their theme's potential and providing coaching as a support lead.

Luke Van Bakel attended the University of Toronto from 2006 to 2010, where they received a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government. Luke later pursued further education at the same university, completing a second Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from 2010 to 2015.
