Semyon Samusev has a range of work experience in the software engineering field. Semyon most recently worked as a Technical Director (Backend/Blockchain) at Pixion Games starting in April 2021. Semyon also designed and implemented core components of the distributed architecture for the game "Bullet Echo." Earlier in their career, Semyon was a Lead Software Engineer (Java) at ZeptoLab from December 2013 to May 2019, where they designed and implemented a scalable backend server infrastructure for the game "King of Thieves" and participated in designing architecture for other games. Semyon also worked as a Lead Software Engineer (Java) at Medlinesoft from August 2012 to November 2013, where they built a scalable cluster solution for a National Healthcare System. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer (Java) at Tolltec LLC from October 2010 to August 2012, where they developed a high-performance low-level network application for gathering real-time data. Semyon also worked as a Senior Software Engineer (Java) at M-Commerce Ltd from August 2009 to October 2010, where they developed a backend for online processing of customer purchases via cellphone and an internal web portal for payment document processing and statistics. At the beginning of their career, they worked as a Software Engineer (Java) at Asteros from August 2008 to August 2009, where they worked on a corporate user profiles management solution.
Semyon Samusev earned a Master's Degree in IT from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) from 2004 to 2009. Additionally, they obtained several certifications from Coursera, including "Поиск структуры в данных" in April 2018, "Обучение на размеченных данных" in November 2017, and "Математика и Python для анализа данных" in October 2017.
