Stephen Berger, EIT, is a seasoned power flow analysis engineer with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as a Sr. Lead Engineer in the Interconnection Analysis, Planning Division at PJM Interconnection since August 2018. In this role, Stephen conducts studies of the PJM Interconnection Queue, assesses its impacts on the Bulk Electric System (BES), and manages load flow analysis and cost allocation. Previous positions at PJM included Lead Engineer and Sr. Engineer-II, focusing on interconnection studies. Prior to PJM, Stephen held critical roles at PPL Electric Utilities and PPL Corporation, where responsibilities included transmission planning, NERC compliance, and mechanical engineering support for nuclear site design. Stephen earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University.
