Sophia O'Reilly is a Senior Urban Designer at Place Design Group since June 2025 and has served as a Sessional Academic Tutor in Urban Development & Design at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) since March 2018. In the academic role, Sophia delivers interactive tutorial sessions, facilitates discussions, and teaches essential design programs to enhance students' analytical and design skills. Previous experience includes working as an Urban Designer at Hassell from June 2021 to July 2025 and as a Planning Consultant at Development Certification in early 2019. Sophia holds a Bachelor of Urban Development Honours (Planning) from QUT, a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Technology Sydney, and has participated in study programs at Arizona State University and the University of Stuttgart, along with pursuing a Bachelor of Building Design through CQUniversity.
