Pierce J. Peterson

Pierce J. Peterson is a Senior Product Design Engineer at Placon Corporation since June 2018, where responsibilities include leading design efforts for thermoformed plastic products, creating complex CAD geometry, managing prototyping processes, and ensuring intellectual property protection. Previous experience includes a Mechanical Engineering Internship at GE Power, where design of engine parts and tolerance analyses were conducted, and a Research & Development Engineering Internship at Spectrum Brands, Inc, focusing on the design of efficient appliances and prototype development. Additional roles include tutoring at the UW Madison Engineering Undergraduate Learning Center and working as a Water and Sewer Maintenance Employee for the Village of Oregon Public Works. Pierce holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
