He is the Vice President of GEK TERNA, a member of the Board of Directors. of QUEST Participations, member of the Board of Directors of EUROSEAS LTD, member of the Board of Directors of EURODRY LTD, member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic American University, member of the Board of Directors of MINERVA SA of Olive Industries and Food, member of the Board of Directors. of EUROCATERING S.A., Chairman of the Regulation and Liquidation Committee of PQH Unified Special Liquidation S.A. and member of the Marketing Committee of the Hellenic Olympic Committee.
He has been the CEO of the National Bank of Greece, Independent Non-Executive Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Piraeus Bank, President and CEO of LAMDA DEVELOPMENT, responsible for the strategy and business development of the Latsis Group in Geneva, Deputy CEO at the National Real Estate Bank and the National Bank Greece's. He has also worked at Mobil Oil Hellas, the Investment Bank and ABN-AMRO Bank as Deputy General Manager. He has been a member of several boards and committees.
Mr. Tamvakakis is a graduate of the Athens University of Economics and Business, with master's degrees in Econometrics and Economic Mathematics in Canada.
