Kevin Martineau is the EVP of Electrical at Plan Group, Inc. Kevin has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry.
Martineau began their career as a Senior Community Construction Manager at K. Hovnanian Homes. Kevin was responsible for the construction of a $76 million development consisting of 275 single-family homes. Kevin successfully completed the project on time and on budget. Kevin also negotiated with city officials to save the company over $280,000 on 35 homes.
Martineau was selected from 74 construction managers by corporate management to design and streamline the step-by-step building process due to their prior success. Kevin implemented a safety program for community construction managers and contractors, which resulted in the company’s first 100% score on a safety inspection. Kevin also created a program to train staff and increase the quality of inspections, which resulted in reduced home-owner walk-through repair requests by almost 90%.
Martineau set a new company record and received commendation from the Regional President for closing 26 homes in a row with zero home-owner walk-through repair requests. Kevin also received three “Community of Excellence” awards during a 12-month period as supervisor of 10 community construction managers. This award is only given to one community per quarter by the Regional President.
Kevin Martineau has a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from MidAmerica Nazarene University in the field of Business Administration, Management and Operations.
