Jake Meyers

Jake Meyers is an experienced professional with a strong background in environmental communication and program evaluation. Currently serving as an Advisory Council Member for Planet Forward, Jake contributes to strategic planning efforts to cultivate the next generation of environmental storytellers. A recipient of Planet Forward's Storyfest Grand Prize, Jake has participated in significant storytelling initiatives, including an expedition in the Galapagos Islands. Previously, Jake held roles at Bixal, where technical support was provided for USAID's nutrition programs, and iDE, managing learning strategies to enhance project outcomes. Additional experiences include positions at FEMA, the University of Arizona, and the International Livestock Research Institute, where project management and research activities were conducted. Jake holds a Master's degree in Development Practice from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from Washington & Jefferson College.
