Luke Heary has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in software engineering. Luke started their career at Wegmans Food Markets as a Team Member from 2013 to 2017. Luke then interned at Publicis Media, where they focused on optimizing real-time bidding software. In 2018, Luke worked as a Software Engineering Intern at TROVE, contributing to the improvement of the TROVE Platform and Solver products. At IBM in 2019, they served as a Software Developer Intern, primarily working on the back-end of the BlueFringe web portal. From 2020 to 2022, Luke worked at John Hancock as an Associate Full-Stack Software Engineer, contributing to front-end and back-end projects. Currently, they are employed at Howl as a Software Engineer, where they have taken ownership of critical projects and acquired important software development skills.
Luke Heary completed their education with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Rochester Institute of Technology, which they pursued from 2015 to 2019. Prior to attending the university, they obtained a High School Diploma from Lancaster High School between 2011 and 2015. In addition to their academic qualifications, Luke acquired additional certifications, including "Docker Essentials: A Developer Introduction" and "IBM Blockchain Essentials" from IBM in May 2019.
