Sam Lanyon is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various sectors, including healthcare and technology. Currently serving as a Non Executive Director and Compensation Committee Chair at Visus Therapeutics since November 2019, Sam also holds the position of Executive Chair at Lumos Diagnostics, a company specializing in rapid diagnostics. Additional roles include Executive Director/GM Innovation Services at Planet Innovation and Non Executive Director at Paragon Funds Management. Sam’s prior experience includes significant leadership positions at Waterwerx, Zen Ecosystems, Genea Biomedx, SolaMate Pty Ltd, Leica Microsystems, and Vision BioSystems. Academically, Sam holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Melbourne, a PDM in Management from Melbourne Business School, and a degree in Strategy for Value Creation from London Business School.
