Anze Zupanc

Anze Zupanc is a Senior Data Scientist at Sinergise since October 2017, where responsibilities include founding and developing the Bluedot Observatory, serving as the Scientific Lead for the EU's Horizon 2020 Programme Project Perceptive Sentinel, and contributing to various Python packages for satellite imagery analysis, such as eo-learn, sentinelhub-py, and s2cloudless. Previous experience includes a Researcher position at Jozef Stefan Institute, focusing on high-energy physics and machine learning in the Belle II collaboration, along with roles as Assistant Professor at the University of Ljubljana and Assistant Researcher at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, where teaching and supervising students were primary responsibilities.
