Kamenee Arumugam is a Senior Software Engineer at Planet since February 2022, focusing on the design and development of features for Planet Labs satellites involving FreeRTOS and embedded Linux, along with hardware bring-up and recovery mechanism software. Previously, Kamenee worked as a Software Engineer at Peloton Interactive, contributing to the Android software stack and firmware development for Peloton Tread products. Kamenee's experience also includes roles at Intel Corporation, where responsibilities ranged from developing Linux drivers for Intel’s Omni-Path Architecture to enabling Linux Board Support Packages for various Intel platforms, alongside leading teams and working on graphics hardware simulation. Education includes a Master’s Degree in Embedded Systems from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Universiti Sains Malaysia.
