Kiruthika Devaraj is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in research and development within the fields of electrical engineering and astronomy. Currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at Planet Labs since 2014, Kiruthika previously held the position of KIPAC Research Fellow at Stanford University from 2010 to 2014, focusing on advanced focal plane camera receivers for star formation studies and early Universe research. Earlier roles include Graduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where Kiruthika conducted microwave measurements for the Juno spacecraft, and Research Student at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory, leading projects on Jupiter's atmospheric changes. Kiruthika began a career in research at the Indian Institute of Science, developing pattern recognition algorithms. Academic credentials include a PhD and MS in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, complemented by a B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from PSG College of Technology.
