Will Marshall

Will Marshall is a prominent leader in the aerospace and space exploration field, serving as Co-Founder and CEO of Planet Labs since February 2012, where expertise lies in establishing company vision and strategy, as well as leading advanced scientific concepts. Prior experience includes a role as a Scientist at NASA Ames Research Center from May 2006 to January 2012, contributing to low-cost satellites and space debris remediation projects. Will's early career includes positions at the Space Generation Advisory Council and the European Space Agency, along with several internships at NASA facilities and Caltech, which provided foundational experience in astrophysics and space science. Will holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Oxford and has pursued diverse educational opportunities, including postdoctoral studies in Space Policy at Harvard University.
