Vanessa Lee

Vanessa Lee has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Vanessa started their career as a Culinary Team Instructor at Hotel Ezra Cornell in 2003. Vanessa then worked as a Service Manager at Hillstone Restaurant Group from 2005 to 2007, where they managed budgets and addressed customer feedback. In 2008, they joined Wellness With Rose, Inc. as an Executive Assistant and Bookkeeper, handling scheduling, invoicing, and payment processing. From 2010 to 2012, Vanessa served as a General Manager at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, overseeing inventory, invoice approval, and cash reconciliation. Since 2012, they have been working at PlanetTogether Inc. as an Accounting Team Lead, responsible for financial reporting, sales orders, invoices, and payable invoices.

Vanessa Lee began their education in 2000 at Bucknell University, where they pursued a degree in Anthropology until 2003. Vanessa then transferred to the Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in the field of School of Hotel Administration from 2003 to 2005. During their time at Cornell, they also participated in the Culinary Immersion Program at The Culinary Institute of America in 2004 and 2005. In 2011, Vanessa obtained a Certificate in Customer-Focused Product & Service Design from the Cornell University College of Engineering. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in the field of accounting, including "Accounting for Business Decision Making: Strategy Assessment and Control," "Accounting for Business Decision Making: Measurement and Operational Decisions," "Understanding Financial Statements: Company Performance," and "Understanding Financial Statements: Company Position" from Coursera, with the most recent certification obtained in June 2017.
