Ram Berenstein is a Mechanical Design Engineer with extensive experience in designing vehicle armor systems for military applications, currently employed at Plasan since September 2020. Ram specializes in the mechanical design of Add-On armor protection for lightweight military tactical trucks and APCs, utilizing CATIA V5 for comprehensive product planning from concept to serial production. Prior to Plasan, Ram worked at Jack Finkelstein Research & Development Ltd. focusing on electronic packaging design in Solidworks and at Ardan Transformers as an NPI Engineer, where mechanical documentation and engineering drawings were prepared using Inventor and AutoCAD. Ram began a career in mechanical engineering during a student role at Nisko Group LTD. Ram holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, with a major in mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and CAD.
