Rima Hadid is a prominent legal and corporate professional with extensive experience across various sectors. Currently serving as a Founding Member and Investor at PLAYBOOK since December 2022, and as General Counsel for the Emirates Investment Authority since February 2021, Rima has held significant roles in multiple organizations. Previously, Rima acted as Chief Operating Officer, Secretary of the Board of Directors, and General Counsel at Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company from June 2013 to January 2021. Rima's notable involvement in governance is also reflected in the role as a Member of the Board of Directors at McLaren Technology Group from December 2016 to November 2020. Rima's early career included positions as General Counsel and Board Secretary at Gulf Technics Co., Legal Consultant at Zu'bi & Partners Attorneys and Legal Consultants, Legal Counsel at Seef Properties, and Legal Officer at the Tenants' Union of NSW. Rima's educational background includes a Bachelor of Laws and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice Management from Western Sydney University, as well as participation in the INSEAD International Directors Program.
