Alvaro Hernandez de la Cruz

Alvaro Hernandez de la Cruz is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Corporate Finance & M&A Director and previously the Corporate Development and M&A Manager at Playtomic since May 2021. Prior experience includes roles as an Investment Banking Analyst and Trainee at GBS Finance from September 2018 to April 2021, and earlier internships at Santander Global Corporate Banking, Accenture España, Telefônica Brasil, and Santander Private Banking. Alvaro holds a Master in Finance from IE Business School and holds additional executive qualifications in financial modeling, business plan analysis, company valuation, and financial analysis from ISBIF Finance School. Alvaro completed a dual degree in Business Administration and Law at IE University and a Bachelor of Laws from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. Early experience includes working with children as a Camp Monitor and providing entrepreneurial training at microfinance institutions.
