Pedro E. Thormodsen

Pedro E. Thormodsen is an experienced technology leader currently serving as CPTO at Playtomic since July 2023. Previously, Thormodsen held the position of CPO at Wallapop from July 2019 to July 2023, contributing to sustainable consumption in Spain's secondhand market. Prior to Wallapop, Thormodsen worked at eBay as CPTO and Senior Director for the UK & BENELUX from December 2017 to July 2019, overseeing classifieds across multiple continents. Thormodsen's extensive experience also includes roles at Schibsted Media Group as VP of Product for real estate classifieds, Product Director, and Director of Software Development at FINN.NO, as well as CIO at Aker University Hospital. Early career experiences include roles at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, Getronics, and ABB. Thormodsen's educational background includes a postgraduate program in digital leadership and brand management, along with military training as a Sergeant.
