Kristy Custer

Kristy Custer is an experienced educational professional specializing in educational innovation and curriculum development. Currently serving as Director of Educational Innovation at PlayVS since May 2025, Kristy previously held the position of President of Educational Innovation at Generation Esports from August 2021 to May 2025, where Kristy developed turn-key esports curriculum for schools aimed at teaching STEM, social-emotional learning, and college and career readiness skills. Prior to this, Kristy was a Principal at USD 266 from August 2012 to June 2021. Kristy holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership and Administration from Kansas State University, a Master of Education (MEd) in Education Leadership from Baker University, and a Bachelor of Education (BEd) in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Wichita State University.
