César Araya

César Araya has a diverse work experience in the field of data and analytics. César is currently working as the Chief Data & Analytics Officer at Mallplaza since November 2020. Before that, they worked at Banco Bci as the Gerente de Data Ops y Procesos CRM from September 2018 to November 2020. Prior to Banco Bci, César worked at BancoEstado, where they held multiple roles including Subdirector Big Data y Analitica Avanzada from December 2016 to September 2018, Subgerente Inteligencia de Negocios from October 2013 to November 2016, Jefe de Inteligencia de Negocios Minorista from October 2009 to September 2013, and Jefe de Data Mining from March 2005 to September 2009. César also has experience working at Seminarium as the Jefe Operaciones y Sistemas from December 2004 to March 2005.

César Araya's education history begins in 1992 when they enrolled at Universidad de Chile to pursue a degree in Ingeniero Civil Industrial. César successfully completed their undergraduate studies in this field in 1998. In 1999, César joined Universidad de Chile once again, this time to pursue a Magister degree in Business Administration, which they completed in the following year. Simultaneously, in 1999, they also attended Esade, where they pursued a Master's degree in Management and completed it in 2000.
