Nathalie Viens

Nathalie Viens joined Caisse de dépôt et de placement du Québec (CDPQ) in 2020 as an Operating Partner, supporting the global Infrastructure Portfolio. Before joining CDPQ, Nathalie was Senior Vice President of Operations at Veolia North America, directing all activities related to Energy, Water, Environmental Solutions and Services including Oil & Solvent Regeneration and Industrial Cleaning activities. Nathalie also served as Vice-President in the North American Mines and Metallurgy Group at SNC-Lavalin: in this capacity, she led teams dedicated to mining environment, mining infrastructure and plants services. Nathalie started her career with Accenture where she managed large program, major operational transformation, operational and information systems integration.

Nathalie currently sits on the following boards: Energir (diversified energy company), Transportadora Associada de Gás S.A. (natural gas transmission), Student Transportation of America (School bus services), Plenary Americas and Industrial French Chamber of Commerce (CCIf). She previously sat on the following boards: Consortium Santé Montréal - PPP responsible for CHUM hospital (2018-2020) and AEMBQ (Association des Entreprises en Maintenance du Bâtiment du Québec) (2019-2020).

Nathalie holds a bachelor's and a master's degree in chemical engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal. Nathalie holds a professional engineer certificate in the province of Quebec. She is also a certified project management professional (PMP) and a certified board member (ASC & C. Dir).
