Matthew White has had extensive work experience at Plex Systems, Inc. Matthew started their career at the company in 2010 as a Software Engineer (Co-op), where they maintained and enhanced various components of Plex Online and internal tools. Matthew then transitioned to roles of increasing responsibility, including Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, where they specialized in developing frameworks and championing date/time, reporting, and database connection paradigms. From 2016 to 2019, Matthew served as a Software Architect, focusing on security, internationalization, and infrastructure concerns for the Plex Smart Manufacturing Platform. In 2019, they were promoted to Senior Software Architect, responsible for technical vision and execution, particularly in novel architecture patterns, security, internationalization, and infrastructure. Matthew has been an active member of various teams, including replication schema, C# standards, Plex Tech Talks, API Governance, CI/CD, Turning Customers into Fans, and Application Security teams. In their current role as Senior Software Architect, they work collaboratively across the Rockwell family of companies to coalesce on a common path forward.
Matthew White attended Burrell High School from 2006 to 2010 but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. Matthew then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Engineering at Kettering University from 2010 to 2015.
