Eddie Hunnell

Eddie Hunnell is an experienced design and engineering professional currently serving as Design Lead at Plexus Corp., focusing on medical, industrial, and military product design since June 2024. Prior to this, Eddie held the position of Systems Engineering Lead at Monterey Technologies, Inc., facilitating human systems integration and software development from January 2023 to June 2024. Eddie's experience includes roles as Engineering Design Lead and Sr Software Manager at Seagate Technology, where the management of software development for RAID Storage products was a key responsibility, as well as Manager of Software Development at Dot Hill Systems and Director of Engineering at both HEI, Inc. and Triangle Biomedical Sciences. Career beginnings included various positions at Nortel Networks and Bell Northern Research, with a foundational role as Hardware Test Engineer for the US Navy. Eddie holds an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
