Jerome Valdez

Jerome Valdez is an accomplished design leader with extensive experience in product design and UX across various industries. Currently serving as the Head of Product Design at Plotly and additionally as a Fractional Head of Product Design at XDS Spark, Jerome guides teams in creating impactful data visualization tools and enhancing user experiences. Previously, as Head of Design at Cova Software, Jerome played a vital role in scaling the company to North America’s top cannabis point-of-sale provider while fostering a design-thinking culture. Additionally, Jerome has held key positions at iQmetrix, where responsibilities included managing multidisciplinary teams and developing design systems, and has run a successful user experience consulting practice. An educator at Capilano University, Jerome has taught UX design to aspiring designers, further contributing to the field.
