Anant Puri

Anant Puri has a diverse and extensive work experience in the automotive and aerospace industries. Anant currently serves as the Director of Engineering - NextGen Products at Plug Power since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at GE Aerospace from 2022 to 2023, where they held the roles of Senior Staff - Advanced Commercial Programs and Growth Pursuits Leader - Advanced Technology - Aircraft Electric Power.

Before joining GE Aerospace, Anant worked at Cummins Inc. from 2012 to 2022. During their tenure, they held various positions including Engineering Manager - Advanced Electrification - Hybrids, BEV, Fuel Cell, Sr. Technical Specialist - Advanced Electrification - Hybrids, BEV, Fuel Cell, Technical Specialist - Advanced Electrification - Hybrids, BEV, Fuel Cell, Group Lead - Next Gen Engines (Corporate R&T), Senior Research Engineer - Vehicle Efficiency Algorithms (Corporate R&T), and Research Engineer - Micro-Hybrid Powertrain (Corporate R&T).

Anant also worked as a Research Intern, Advanced Engineering (R&D) at Cummins Inc. in 2011, and as a Body and Chassis Design Engineer at Maruti Suzuki India Limited in 2009. Anant started their career as a Research Assistant Intern at Tata Motors in 2008.

Throughout their career, Anant has demonstrated expertise in various areas such as systems leadership, program management, technology development, systems engineering, controls design, simulation analysis, and project planning. Anant has also been involved in the development of innovative technologies and has contributed to multiple patents.

Anant Puri began their education in 2005 at Punjab Engineering College, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Anant successfully completed this program in 2009. In 2010, Anant enrolled at the University of Michigan, where they obtained a Master's degree in Science and Engineering with a specialization in Systems & Controls. Anant completed this program in 2012.
