John Peters has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. John started their career as an Intern - Electrical Engineer at Plug Power in 2014. John then worked at Naval Nuclear Laboratory (FMP) as an Instrumentation & Control Systems Engineer from September 2016 to September 2018. John later transitioned to the role of System Qualification Engineer and worked until January 2021. From January 2021 to March 2022, they served as a Controls Engineer at kW Mission Critical Engineering. Currently, they are employed at Plug Power as a Systems Engineer since March 2022 and has now been promoted to the position of Senior Systems Engineer starting in June 2023.

John Peters completed their Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at Clarkson University Graduate School from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Binghamton University, which they attended from 2011 to 2015.
