Lucy Boulatnikov Wilke's work experience begins in 1998 with a summer research position at Heidelberg, where they conducted polymer materials research. Lucy then worked as a Research Assistant at the University at Buffalo in 2001. From 2002 to 2003, they were the Safety & Ergonomics Team Leader at Motorola Semiconductor and later became an Industrial Engineer at Delphi Automotive Systems.

In 2003, Lucy joined WINFIELD INDUSTRIES, INC. as a Manufacturing Engineer, responsible for production lines and job shop customer orders. Lucy then joined General Motors in 2004 and held the role of Senior Project Engineer until 2012, leading a team and managing project timelines.

Starting in 2013, Lucy worked at Delphi Technologies as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, where they reviewed product PFMEA with customers and quality auditors in China and Romania. In 2019, they transitioned to a role as a Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer and later became the Sr Manufacturing Quality Systems Manager at Plug Power in 2021.

Lucy Boulatnikov Wilke pursued their education at the Rochester Institute of Technology from 2004 to 2007. During this time, they obtained a Master's degree in Manufacturing Management & Leadership. Prior to that, they attended the University at Buffalo from 1998 to 2002, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
