Orkhan Shafiyev

Orkhan Shafiyev has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Orkhan started their career as a Quality Control Intern at HABAS SINAI VE TIBBI GAZLAR ISTIHSAL ENDUSTRISI A.S in 2008, where they developed and implemented quality control plans. From 2009, they worked as a Sales Assistant at Dells outlet mall and as a Lifeguard at Wilderness Resort in Wisconsin Dells. In 2011, they served as the Marketing and Sales Manager at Ovit Sport. Orkhan then joined Tasdemir Muhendislik in 2012 as an Assistant Project Manager. At BCC-GRP, they worked as a Technical Office Engineer and later as the Head of Contracts Department from 2016 to 2018. Orkhan Shafiyev's most recent work experience includes roles at Plug Power. Orkhan started as a Production Technician in 2019 and was promoted to Senior Production Technician and Production Team Lead in 2020. Currently, they are working as an Associate Manufacturing Engineer at Plug Power, where they are responsible for the development and refinement of manufacturing processes and procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement, and increasing manufacturing efficiency.

Orkhan Shafiyev earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Qafqaz Universiteti, where they studied from 2005 to 2011. In 2010 to 2011, they also took a course in Russian as a foreign language at Saint Petersburg State University.
