PM

PM is an independent, family-run company specialized in the design of precision linear and rotating bearings, linear slides, and advanced positioning systems designed to customer specification. It started in 1966 as a manufacturer of crossed roller linear bearings. Over the course of the following decades PM has gradually increased its portfolio size and continues to do so. This is reflected by the currently extensive product range. Through ongoing research and engineering projects, PM is able to offer special positioning solutions customized to specific applications. All products PM offers are developed, designed, manufactured and assembled in a modern manufacturing plant in Dedemsvaart, the Netherlands. A wide variety of high automated machining centers belongs to the inventory. The in-house machining capabilities range from micro to macro scale and for instance include: turning, milling, grinding and lapping. In this facility the critical components for the PM products like slide and stage parts, linear bearing cages, rails, adapterplates and waferholders are manufactured. The assembly of components can be done either atmospheric or in a ISO class cleanroom, depending upon customers’ desire. To ensure the highest grade of precision, the entire facility – from manufacturing to assembly – is climate controlled. High quality is guaranteed because made by PM really means made by PM. Served industries Highly demanding industries require innovative partners with high quality standards. Thanks to the continuous efforts PM is the partner of choice for customers in various industries: • Semiconductor • Analytical • Medical Science • Optical • Metrology Services PM support their customers with: • Expert advice and consulting • Product Life Management • Design for specification • State-of-the-art machining • Assembly of modules & systems • Cleanroom packaging and assembly • Vacuum testing • Project management • Logistics
