Shubham Garg has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Shubham started their career as an Engineering Associate at the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI), where they assisted engineers and maintained operational records for trains. Shubham then worked as a phone Account Betting Operator at Tatts Group, developing customer service, time management, and pressure handling skills.
Shubham later joined the University of South Australia as an Engineering Research Associate, collaborating with the Defence Science and Technology Office (DSTO) and the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) on the development of an innovative UAV launch mechanism. Shubham utilized off-the-shelf components to create an automated and effective system for the RAAF.
After that, Shubham worked at Kinexus Australia as a Delivery Project Engineer for the Collins Class Submarines at ASC Pty Ltd. Shubham contributed to the Full Cycle Docking (FCD) program, which involved the refurbishment of boats and required coordination with different professions and teams.
At ASC Pty Ltd, Shubham advanced their career as an Engineering Lead for the Dechaineux FCD and later as a Design and Integration Project Engineer. Shubham managed various Design and Integration projects for the Collins Class fleet, including addressing obsolescence and implementing major upgrades to enhance fleet capability.
Currently, Shubham is working as a Project Manager - Export Sales at PMB Defence Pty Ltd.
Shubham Garg completed their high school education from ACG Parnell College between the years 2006 and 2011. Shubham then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Australia, graduating in the year 2016.
