Alec Parhar, P. Eng, is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in power systems and renewable energy integration. Currently serving as a Distribution Engineer III at Public Service Company of New Mexico since September 2023, Alec has also been a Council Member for the Standards Council of Canada focused on grid integration of renewable energy since February 2021. Prior to this, Alec worked as a Power System Engineer at CHA Consulting, Inc., where expertise included the design and implementation of solar projects totaling 15MW. Previous roles included positions at Celestica, where responsibilities spanned process engineering and managing solar lab operations, as well as experience as a Child and Youth Worker and Sports Referee during studies at Western University, where Alec earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
