Mauricio Hollando

Mauricio Hollando is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in the gaming industry. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Pocket Gems since September 2020, Mauricio has previously held prominent roles such as Lead Simulation Engineer at Osaro, Inc., where responsibilities included building the simulations team and developing a simulations framework, and Senior Engineering Manager at LiveLike, leading major codebase refactoring. Additional experience includes Head of Engineering at Teravision Games overseeing mobile and VR game development, co-founding Silvermile as CTO, and directing a video game development course for the OEA. With roots in AI programming at Recoil Games and significant roles at Rovio Entertainment, where Mauricio contributed to the development of Angry Birds Space, Mauricio brings a rich background in engineering and project management, nurtured by a solid educational foundation in computer science and specialized training in 3D animation and game design.
