Cheyenne MacKay

Cheyenne Mackay is a versatile media professional with extensive experience in podcasting, radio, and education. Currently serving as the Deputy Managing Director and Head of Content at Podcast-Schmiede since February 2021, Mackay is also a podcaster for ROTZPHASE der Podcast für wilde Eltern. Mackay’s teaching role includes instructing workshops on podcasting and radio for various target groups at EBU/Universität Basel/SRF since 2005. As a co-founder and organizer of the SONOHR Radio & Podcast Festival since 2010, Mackay oversees the planning and execution of the festival, including media work and selection of audio contributions. Previous roles include training positions at Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen and Radio ORANGE 94.0, as well as involvement in EU projects promoting radio production among youth. Mackay holds a CAS in Medienpädagogik from PHSG and a diploma in adult education from SELF.
