Point Designs
Ben is a Director of Product Development at Point Designs, where Ben leads the development of new products for people with partial hand amputations. Ben is also a Mechanical Engineer at the same company, designing products and working with external vendors. Ben previously worked as a tutor and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Colorado Denver, where Ben instructed students in bioengineering coursework. Additionally, Ben has experience as a Data Analyst at Medtronic, a Research Intern at Liberating Technologies, Inc., and a Volunteer CAD Specialist at the Mars Foundation. Ben holds a Master's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Point Designs
Point Designs is dedicated to designing and manufacturing heavy-duty partial hand prostheses. Through years of development and feedback from prosthetists and patients we created our flagship product, a strong, durable, and lightweight full finger prosthesis, called the Point Digit. An ideal solution for patients with near-MCP level amputations/differences, the Point Digit articulates anatomically, is robust, and can be positioned unilaterally. We continue to research and develop innovative prosthetic solutions and celebrate the advances being made in our field every day.
