Point Designs
Levin Sliker is the Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer at Point Designs. They also serve as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Colorado Boulder College of Engineering & Applied Science since August 2018, and act as a faculty advisor for a graduate design team. Levin has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, earned between 2010 and 2015. They have a strong research background, previously holding positions such as Research Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado Denver and Research Fellow at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Levin has also been a Whitaker International Fellow at The BioRobotics Institute at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna.
Point Designs
Point Designs is dedicated to designing and manufacturing heavy-duty partial hand prostheses. Through years of development and feedback from prosthetists and patients we created our flagship product, a strong, durable, and lightweight full finger prosthesis, called the Point Digit. An ideal solution for patients with near-MCP level amputations/differences, the Point Digit articulates anatomically, is robust, and can be positioned unilaterally. We continue to research and develop innovative prosthetic solutions and celebrate the advances being made in our field every day.
