Alec Simpson

Alec Simpson is currently a Portfolio Manager at Point72, where Alec has been working since January 2022. Previously, Alec worked as an Analyst at Jericho Capital Asset Management LP from July 2016 to January 2022, focusing on the technology, media, and telecommunications sectors. Prior to that, Alec was a Private Equity Associate at TPG Capital from August 2014 to July 2016, specializing in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications Group. Alec also gained experience as an Investment Banking Analyst at Morgan Stanley and as a Finance Department Summer Analyst at Demand Media. Alec holds degrees in Finance & Accounting from The Wharton School and in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania - School of Engineering and Applied Science.
