Matthew Mains

Matthew Mains is an accomplished software engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership and development roles. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at PointClickCare since May 2017, Matthew has successfully managed multiple teams to deliver new services, improved engineering practices, and refined company culture. Previously, as a Software Engineer Team Lead, Matthew pioneered a new micro-services architecture and contributed to the development of the CI/CD pipeline. Prior to PointClickCare, Matthew spent nearly a decade at PTC, where significant contributions included enhancing the Integrity product and facilitating a transition to Agile methodologies. Matthew holds a Master’s degree in Management Sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in Combinatorics and Optimization and Computer Science from the University of Waterloo.
