Academic achievements include a PhD in Biophysics from Columbia University, where Brett served as a PhD student and Graduate Student Researcher from August 2007 to May 2017, focusing on virology, membrane biophysics, nanotechnology, and single-molecule optical microscopy. Additional experience includes consulting for See-Thru and Ombligo, Inc., as well as undergraduate research at Cornell University, where Brett studied protein-protein interactions in cancer cells.
