Tuomas Virtamo

Tuomas Virtamo has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Tuomas is currently the Executive Vice President, Customer Offering and Care at Polar Electro Oy, where they help individuals improve their fitness and health through personalized guidance. Prior to this, they worked as a Management Consultant at Change Craft, providing leadership, strategy, marketing, and sales consulting services. Tuomas also served as the VP Marketing at SOK, Finland's largest retailer, and as the Chief Digital and Marketing Officer at Aktia. Tuomas has held various leadership roles at LUMENE Oy, Midagon Oy, and L'Oréal, where they gained experience in commercial leadership, business development, and marketing.

Tuomas Virtamo has a diverse education history. In 1989, they obtained their High School Diploma from II Normaalikoulu in Helsinki. After that, they pursued their Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration from Aalto University School of Business in Helsinki, Finland, completing the degree in 1997.

Tuomas later obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Tulane University - A.B. Freeman School of Business in 1993. During this time, they focused on Finance and Marketing.

In addition to their formal education, Tuomas has also obtained several certifications. Tuomas completed courses such as "Fundamentals of Project Planning and Management," "Innovating with the Business Model Canvas," and "Digital Business Models" from Coursera. These certifications were achieved in July 2018 and March 2018, respectively. Furthermore, they completed courses such as "Intellectual Humility: Theory" and "The Data Scientist’s Toolbox" in December 2017, also on Coursera.
