Ivano Bilenchi

Ivano Bilenchi is a teaching assistant at the Polytechnic University of Bari since October 2016, delivering lectures on courses such as Operating Systems, Embedded and Certified Software, and Formal Languages and Compilers. Ivano is also a research assistant in the Information Systems Lab, focusing on introducing artificial intelligence technologies for the Semantic Web on mobile and embedded platforms, notably working on the Mini-ME project. Additional experience includes roles as a full-stack web developer for the COMPETiTiVE project, an AI R&D engineer designing the Mini-ME Swift OWL reasoner for iOS, and an iOS engineer for the BeFree@Campus project, enhancing indoor navigation for motion-impaired students. Previous consultancy work at Avio Aero involved developing a test harness for FADEC mockups. Ivano holds a PhD in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Bari and has degrees in Computer Science Engineering and Computer and Automation Engineering, alongside participation in the AIJA Challenge at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
