Terence Hegarty

Terence Hegarty is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in cloud infrastructure, product management, and engineering. Currently serving as Principal Platform Architect and Chief of Staff at Poloniex since June 2022, Terence has previously held key positions including Director of Cloud Infrastructure at Saks Fifth Avenue, where Terence led a critical project to decouple saks.com from its parent company, and Director of Infrastructure at Chainalysis Inc., spearheading the shift to a cloud-based operating model. Other notable roles include Director of Product Management at JW Player and Vice President at Ora TV, where Terence was instrumental in developing technical platforms for innovative digital content delivery. Terence began a career in technology as a founder and CTO of Hegarty Interactive, and educationally, Terence holds a BS in Landscape Architecture from Rutgers University.
