Afërdita Hakaj

Afërdita Hakaj is an experienced professional in executive management, strategic advancement, and humanitarian affairs with a strong background in development and policy analysis. Afërdita served as the Director of Annual Giving at Poly Prep Country Day School from July 2022 to July 2023 and founded Hakaj Consulting LLC, where Afërdita held the position of Principal from January 2020 to January 2023. Prior experience includes Director of Development roles at Metropolitan Montessori School and The Eye-Bank for Sight Restoration, as well as Associate Director at The Center for International Human Rights. Afërdita holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations and Affairs from John Jay College (CUNY) and has studied at Penn State Dickinson Law.
