Matt Henderson

Matt Austin is a highly experienced security professional currently serving as a Principal Red Team Engineer at Match Group since August 2024. Prior to this role, Matt held the position of Principal Security Researcher at Pixee from January 2023 to September 2024, and spent nearly a decade at Contrast Security, where Matt progressed from Security Research Engineer to Director of Security Research. In this capacity, Matt managed a security research lab focused on identifying new attack methods, designing security rules, and evaluating security controls. Matt's earlier experience includes significant roles as a Senior Ruby Developer at Machinima, an Application Security Engineer at Aspect Security with a DOD “Secret” Level Clearance, and various software engineering roles at JibJab Media and Fonality. Matt holds educational credentials from Cambridge College, with studies completed between 2001 and 2003.
