Randy Heydon is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in mechanical design and analysis, currently serving as a Rail Noise & Vibration Engineer at Polycorp Ltd since September 2021, where responsibilities include leading the tuned mass damper product line and performing numerous frequency response measurements using Python. Prior to this role, Randy worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Thor Global Enterprises Ltd., designing conveyor systems and producing detailed CAD models with SolidWorks. Experience also includes serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at CareGo Tek Inc., where Randy led multiple robotic automated material handling projects, and as a Design Engineer at National Steel Car, contributing to the development of new rail car bogie suspension systems. Educational qualifications include a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering - Biomechanics from Ryerson University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
