John Muncaster began their work experience as the President of Polyguard Products, Inc. from 1986 to 2011. John then became the CEO of the company but turned over the running to their successor, Shawn Eastham. After leaving Polyguard, John started two businesses: one focused on non-pharmaceutical pain relief and the other on non-chemical termite control. Prior to Polyguard, they worked at Owens Corning Fiberglas as the Associate Director of R&D from 1978 to 1986. During their time there, they were involved in the development of new products for highway rehabilitation and later joined the Trumbull Asphalt Division within Owens Corning.
John Muncaster attended Harvard Business School from 1969 to 1971, where they earned an MBA degree with a focus on marketing. Prior to that, they attended Dickinson College and obtained an AB degree in Economics in 1962.
