Ilia Baranov

Ilia Baranov is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in robotics and electrical engineering, currently serving as Co-Founder and CTO at Polymath Robotics since September 2021, where the focus is on developing driverless autonomy software for industrial vehicles. Prior roles include Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund, Software Development Manager at Amazon, and Engineering Manager at Clearpath Robotics, where Ilia directed engineering efforts for research products and provided consulting for industrial clients. Ilia's foundational experience includes co-op positions with the Canadian Space Agency, contributing to satellite tracking systems and assisting in rocket launches, along with early research and development roles at Aeryon Labs and Clearpath Robotics. Ilia holds a BASci degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
