Joshan Joy

Joshan Joy is a seasoned professional in the field of regulatory affairs and quality management, currently serving as Senior Manager for Global Regulatory Affairs at PolyNovo Limited since December 2021. With prior experience as Lead Consultant/Manager at Hydrix, Joshan managed complex product development processes and provided consulting services for compliance in medical devices and diagnostics across multiple major regulatory jurisdictions. Previously, Joshan held significant leadership roles at the Therapeutic Goods Administration from 2007 to 2018, including Director A/g – Recalls & Case Management, where initiatives led to improved regulatory approaches and the establishment of a public recalls database. Early career experience includes positions as Biomedical Engineer at Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital Foundation and Quality Engineer at Siemens Hearing Instruments. Educational credentials include a Master of Philosophy in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from The University of Queensland and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics, Instrumentation and Control Engineering from Bharathiar University.
